Explore the new summer exhibit, From Corsets to Crinoline: Unmentionables and the Road to Women’s Suffrage, at Hunter House Victorian Museum through Sept 5.  Discover how the changes in women’s undergarments paralleled the rise of social reform and women’s rights.  Includes items in both the Hunter Family and private lender collections. Tours by appt only.  Norfolk 

Unknown Outcome Exhibit Community Day at the Hermitage Museum & Gardens July 11 from 11am-2pm.  Guests are invited to walk the grounds, meet and listen to the artists, participate in community art projects, enjoy the children’s wetlands tour, and purchase food and drinks  Free and open to the public.  Norfolk

Women as Lighthouse Keepers Lecture at Hunter House Victorian Museum July 12 at 2pm.  Join Jennifer Lucy of the Hermitage Museum and Gardens as she regales you with tales of extraordinary lives of women running lighthouses in the 19th century.  $5 suggested donation.  Norfolk 

Virtual Workshop: Watercolors Florals at Paper Source July 15 at 7pm.  You will learn watercolor techniques to paint beautiful florals, from leaves and petals to a full bouquet.  Use your skills to create one-of-a-kind stationery or framed artwork.  $30. Virginia Beach  

Hampton Coliseum presents Pop Up Drive-In USA  July 17-18 at 7pm & 10pm.  Pile the family in the car and come enjoy a family-friendly movie drive in style!  Specially-priced Snack Pack available as an add on to your ticket which includes 4 popcorns, 4 candles, and 4 drinks.   $30 per carload, $20 for optional concessions bundle.  Movie sound is streamed through your FM radio.
